One of the biggest trends at CEDIA 2019 were large displays and incredible pictures. From wall-to-wall screens meant to pair with standouts like Epson’s ultra-short-throw projector to 4K and 8K resolution on stunning Sony TV displays, true-to-life images stole the show. For dedicated home theater systems located in smaller rooms, Epson surprised the CEDIA crowds with their new ultra-short-throw projector.
A 120-inch screen from Epson with the new LS500 ultra-short-throw 3LCD model projector provides 4K-like resolution using 4K Pro-UHD pixel-shifting technology. Other benefits of this projector include virtually eliminating shadows on the screen and anti-reflection technology. Specially engineered micro-ridges bounce light from the projector out of the room and redirect light coming overhead.
Sony also unveiled updates for two 4K Theater Projectors, adding Digital Focus Optimizer and Dual Contrast control. These offer more dynamic contrast than previous models. The MASTER Series’ Picture Processor X1 Ultimate processor also made a splash at the Expo, offering incredible contrast and deep blacks in a redesigned chassis. The 4K OLED and 8K HDR TVs are available in 85-inch and 98-inch options.
Whether you want a giant projector screen or a large TV display, Wipliance can help you design and install the best options for your Scottsdale-area home. You can even retract your home theater projector into the ceiling if you’d like, so there’s no bulky eyesore when it’s not in use.. With the tap of a button on a remote or smart device, you’ll be able to lower your projector from the ceiling. These versatile displays give you big-screen entertainment wherever you’d like in your home.
